We were given the task of creating an advert for a fashion and art show which would gain interest for the show and tell them the relevant information about the event. We thought about doing some of this in a Dadaist style in order to make this look intriguing to anyone watching, but also tried to include a fashion element. When filming the advert we tried to get across the message of not having to look like other people think you should and that individuality is a positive thing that should be encouraged. For this reason we picked the song 'Iron Sky' by Paolo Nutini as it openly encourages individuality and it uses part of an inspirational speech by Charlie Chaplin in 'The Great Dictator' which is very poignant in this instance.
Once we had filmed all of the clips we will be using, we imported them into Premiere so that we could edit them together, we used the razor too cut and pick the length of the clips we would use. to advertise the fashion show we used some clips which were outside and showed a lot of different locations and using abstract ideas we tried to get across our message as well as advertising the fashion show.
